About Me
I have been teaching at Pembroke Academy for the past eleven years, spending the 2014-2015 school year as both a teacher in the Social Studies Department and the department's Curriculum Liaison. I also serve as the chair of the SAU's Professional Development Committee and a nominated member of the PALT (Pembroke Academy Leadership Team). This year I will be continuing my work on completing my doctoral dissertation on the integration of gamification into professional development for Millennial teachers.

During my tenure at PA, I have taught almost every course, ranging from general level ninth grade Global Studies to AP European History and the Honors Level History of Your Life course. Much like Mr. Benard, I am an avid gamer in what little free-time that I can muster up... specifically Skyrim and the Assassin's Creed series (having presented on the use of video games in social studies classrooms for state-wide conferences). I am also the webmaster for the department, so expect to use the website quite a bit for this course.
