History of Your Life
EQ: What events have happened in my lifetime that will shape my future?
This senior elective course focuses on events of the past twenty years and how those events will impact your future. The course will look at how recent political and social occurrences have had an impact on our world today and will impact your prospective future. Activities will include research papers, comparative projects, and class presentations.
Birth to Kindergarten
EQ: How was the world different in a pre-9/11 world? Could that world have predicted the changes that would have come about?
Elementary School
EQ: Choices immediately following 9/11 caused dramatic changes in global relationships. How did these changes shape the perception of all events at this time, whether they were related or not?
Middle School
EQ: The quest for technology has been an ongoing thread in modern history, how did this impact global events of your Middle School years?
High School
EQ: In the past four years, what has been the most important change to the people of the world?
Moving Forward
EQ: Are we repeating the same cycles of human events over and over again?
This is the unit of predictions, where will the world go from this point, based upon where we have been. Have we just been in a holding pattern of human nature and global events, or have we been progressing/regressing through time?
