Summative Assessment
The summative assessment for this unit is a historiography about an event of the 1990's. Whereas your in-class essay featured some of your opinions, the historiography model requires that you are just reporting on the facts based upon the knowledge that the people had during that event. You cannot look back and make extrapolations based upon what we know now. The other key difference is that a historiography is not a research paper on the event, it is a paper about the contemporary response to an event. Linked here are the project sheet and rubric for this assignment.
