EQ: What makes a qualified president?
I reserved Chromecart 9 (room 2013) for today, for them to finish their papers and presentations. We will present on Monday their Candidate Research Project on Monday.
In class, they should play one round of “Cast Your Vote” at icivics.org (https://www.icivics.org/games/cast-your-vote) and then write me a 4-8 sentence reflection about whether or not you think this way of picking a candidate was a good method (or just forced you to pick someone based on another person’s questions).
When done, they may work on finishing up their papers and projects (please remind them that I will be collecting the 3 completed worksheets, the paper, and expecting some sort of presentation to the class). At least one person will be completely done, and a couple will feel they are, please encourage them to see if there is anything else that they can revise or add to their presentations or other project components.
