This required course is designed to give students an overview of civics.   The course will show how people make decisions regarding the distribution of power.  It will be a survey of basic government philosophies, specific government structures and personal responsibilities.  The goal of the course will be to teach the student how the government can interact with his/her life and why the government would do so.
