Summer Community Read
This summer the entire PA community is reading I am Malala: The girl that stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban. In the fall, students will be assessed on the book in their English classes, so must come back to school prepared. Linked here is the information about all of the summer reading requirements- for the community read and the grade-level read- and samples for the upcoming project. Students will be assessed with a Scantron multiple-choice test on their grade-level read on the first Friday that they are back to school.
