EQ: Why should we care about China in a Pembroke Academy 9th grade history classroom?

DIRECTIONS & RUBRIC: Today in class you will be creating a brochure to entice someone into loving the wonderful world of China. You can cover historical fun (like the dynasties), modern intrigue (like the fight for Taiwan), or the beautiful geography of the “China Chicken” and its treats. If you get stuck on what to put into your brochure, look at your notes from class, the presentations that we have done on China, and the “pre-test” packet that you should be working on filling out as we go along in this unit. The key is that you are answering the EQ: Why should we care about China in a Pembroke Academy 9th grade history classroom?
